Saba follows Miles Stephens as the head of Stephens Insurance. Miles Stephens and his brother John were named co-CEOs of Stephens Inc. on Tuesday, following their father Warren and grandfather Jack as leaders of the family-owned financial services firm. Warren Stephens retired after 39 years as CEO as he prepares for a role as ambassador to the U.K. under President-elect Donald Trump.
Saba joined Stephens Insurance as a senior vice president in 2019. Prior to that, he was part of Stephens’ investment banking division within the power and industrial technology group. He began his career at Stephens in the firm’s equity research department in 2011. Saba earned his master’s in business administration from the University of Chicago and is an honors graduate of the University of Arkansas.
“Korosh is an exceptional leader who consistently provides outstanding client service,” Miles Stephens said in a statement. “His insight, work ethic, and guidance have proven invaluable to clients, Stephens Insurance professionals, and the broader firm. I am incredibly proud of Korosh and am confident he will excel as President and CEO of Stephens Insurance.”
The company also named Lizzie Phillips Sanford as chief strategy officer of Stephens Insurance. She joined the company in 2019 as chief information officer. Prior to that, she started her own firm, Rock Analytics, which specialized in data visualization solutions, and was a director and senior economist at business management consultancy Keybridge in Washington, D.C. Sanford holds a master’s of public administration in economics and health policy from Princeton University and is a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis.
