MONTGOMERY, AL—Palomar Insurance Corporation is pleased to announce a key leadership transition effective Monday, December 2, 2024. Current CEO Tony Craft will step down to take on a new position as a Producer within the company. Succeeding him as CEO is Jim Williford, a seasoned insurance professional with more than 25 years of experience in the commercial property and casualty insurance industry.

Jim has extensive expertise and a proven leadership, innovation, and strategic growth track record. His professional background includes deep knowledge of core commercial insurance coverage lines and a commitment to delivering exceptional client solutions. Holding several prestigious certifications—including Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS)—Jim is well-positioned to lead Palomar Insurance into an exciting new era.
